A Romp in the Snow

It seems like kids and animals love the snow more than the rest of us, and a dog from Alabama just may confirm that theory.

Lulu is a Catahoula leopard dog seen out in the snow with her owner as several inches fell Wednesday in Gadsden. If you’ve ever wondered what a dog sees when it’s romping through the snow, now you know!

But at least Lulu doesn’t have to shovel!

Brit Awards 2015

The Brit Awards 2015 kicked off with a bang Wednesday in London with a host of stars flooding the pre-show red carpet.

British singer Sam Smith led the nominations for the night with five nods, a fresh from a sweep at the 2015 Grammy Awards. He was followed by fellow singer-songwriters Ed Sheeran and George Ezra who both had four nominations.

Paloma Faith, a performer on the night and a British Female Solo Artist nominee, was in a reflective mood on the carpet. Former “X-Factor” contestant Ella Henderson who was nominated for British Female Solo Artist reflected on her Brit Awards experience so far.

The Brit Awards is the UK equivalent of the Grammys.

Madonna’s “gonna carry on” after stage stumble

One big moment that happened last night at the Brit Awards: pop music icon Madonna gave fans a shock when she tumbled down several stairs last night.

Madonna was closing the ceremony with a performance of her song “Living for Love.” She entered with a troupe of male dancers and appeared to fumble with a large cloak she was wearing. The garment seemed to be pulled backward, and Madonna fell down three steps while her dancers looked on.

The song includes a lyric about stumbling, then continues “I’m gonna carry on,” and Madonna did, continuing the matador-themed routine.
