Adrian Peterson could be reinstated

The Minnesota Vikings may have to make a decision on what to do with Adrian Peterson sooner rather than later.

That’s because a federal judge has cleared the way for Peterson to be reinstated. U.S. district judge David Doty issued his order yesterday, less than three weeks after hearing oral arguments. Doty overruled NFL arbitrator Harold Henderson’s previous denial of Peterson’s appeal.

The league suspended Peterson through at least April 15 for his involvement in a child abuse case. But Doty said in his 16-page ruling that Henderson “simply disregarded the law.”’

#thedress

There has been a picture of a dress blowing up on social media.

The Internet is buzzing over a very controversial image: a striped dress in one of two sets of colors. The picture seems innocent enough, but what color is the dress? If you answered white and gold, you’re right. If you answered blue and black, you’re also right! And the way you see it may define who you are as a person.

Actress’ $150,000 dress stolen

It’s a mystery worthy of a Hollywood movie script.

Sheriff’s detectives in Los Angeles say someone has stolen the dress actress Lupita Nyong’o wore to the Academy Awards Sunday. This one of a kind dress, adorned with 6,000 pearls, was apparently taken from Nyong’o’s room at the London West Hollywood Hotel Tuesday.

Detectives were at the hotel Thursday to investigate the theft. In addition to looking at security video, detectives plan to interview hotel staff and other relevant witnesses.

The dress, which is valued at around $150,000, was made by Calvin Klein and was on loan to the Academy Award-winning actress.
