Vikings Officials Meet With Peterson
Minnesota Vikings officials went to the Lone Star State Wednesday to meet with Adrian Peterson and his wife.
Call it a recruiting trip or a fence mending visit, but Adrian Peterson met with Vikings general manager Rick Spielman and head coach Mike Zimmer at his home outside of Houston. This is the first face-to-face meeting between team officials and Peterson since he was suspended in September of last year as he faced child abuse charges.
Peterson has recently expressed his displeasure with the team for lack of support during his time away.
Stuck On The Backroads
A woman driving from Arizona to Washington State was rescued after her GPS led her onto an impassable road.
A group of Utah rescuers were out on a practice run when they found the woman and her SUV stuck in the snow. The road that the woman took is impassable in the winter and usually rarely visited.
The woman had been stuck for approximately 24 hours when rescue crews found her, and they say that the woman is physically okay.
She’d melted snow for water and only had one apple with her. The woman had half a tank of gas left when she was found and had only turned on her engine for 45 minutes at a time to conserve fuel while she was stuck.
Country Star Back From Hiatus
We have exciting news for Shania Twain fans!
The 49-year-old country super star announced Wednesday that she’s going on a 48-city tour! But there’s a catch: the singer’s upcoming tour sounds like it may be her last.
After 11 years, Twain finally feels ready to get back on the road. Twain’s Rock This Country Tour will kick off in Seattle on June 5.
The Grammy winner says the show will be a “totally different show” than her two-year Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum. A new tour isn’t the only exciting news she has. She also mentioned new music is in the mix.
