Early Spring Snow Totals

Some Places Saw More Than Five Inches!

A late season snow system moved through the area during the afternoon Sunday and stayed into the early morning hours on Tuesday. This system moved from north Dakota and all the way into eastern Pennsylvania, but not before leaving some sizable snowfall behind. The heaviest snow fell in southeastern Minnesota and southwestern Wisconsin where some places saw 12-15”! The totals were much less in our area but some places of northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota still saw several inches. Here is a list of the totals that we have received from the National Weather Service!

2.2” – Wheaton, MN
2.0” – Westport
1.1” – McIntosh
1.0” – Ipswich
1.0” – Leola
1.0” – Pollock
0.7” – Aberdeen
0.5” – White
0.1” – Lakefield, MN
