Sioux Empire Draws To A Close

76th annual Sioux Empire came to a close, but not before some singing and the PRCA Rodeo.

The beautiful weather, great entertainment and wonderful community made this 76th anniversary one to remember

We tried some of the most interesting food. Like deep fried Oreos and jumbo corndogs. Plus, the great entertainment from country superstars Brett Eldridge and Lee Brice ensured this past fair is certainly memorable.

Or these memorable moments when KDLT’s Blaise Keller and Sarah Blakely held some newborn pigs; two different pigs, with two completely different attitudes.

We chatted with barn animal owners, blooming onion vendors and even had a chance to play some of our viewers in corn hole… or bags. The jury is still out on the official name.

And then today, we heard some talented vocalists sing some great hits, saw some of the world’s most talented dogs, and watched some country wranglers tie up calves in less time it took to let them out.

The fair had great success and fair organizers expect more great additions to the fair, in years to come.
