Halloween Craft And Treat Ideas For Kids
Halloween is just a few days away and if you’re still looking for some fun ideas to decorate the house or to do some fun activities with the kids, we’ve got a few ideas for you.
Addie Graham-Kramer, president of The Event Company, and Sara Wallenburg, designer at The Event Company, shared a treat and a craft for kids to do at home or for a school party.
- chocolate chip cookies
- red frosting
- slivered almonds
- mini marshmallows
Cut each chocolate chip cookie in half, and spread red icing thickly all over both halves. Place mini marshmallows along the outer, rounded edge of one cookie half, resembling teeth. Stack the other cookie half on top of the “teeth,” and place two slivered almonds between marshmallows to look like fangs. You can either make the cookies and icing at home, or purchase them at the store.
Fall Fabric Pumpkins
- a quarter yard of fabric for each pumpkin
- full toilet paper roll (one roll is one pumpkin)
- small sticks
Place one full toilet paper roll in the middle of a square of fabric, and tuck the fabric into the center of the toilet paper roll. Place a stick in the top for the stem.
