Cookie Jar Eatery Features Delicious Meal And Dessert For Restaurant Week

14 restaurants in Sioux Falls invite you to stop by and try out some special menu items during Downtown Restaurant Week.

In the last couple days, we have visited Ode to Food and Drinks and Coffea. On Wednesday, we visited the Cookie Jar Eatery to learn more about the restaurant and the special menu item they are offering during Restaurant Week.

The restaurant is owned by Glenn and Elaine Koch. It features several baked goods that are made from scratch each day.

The entrée they are featuring for Downtown Restaurant Week is a roasted pulled turkey on a toasted house made cranberry pecan bun with cranberry sauce on the side served with a house made creamy coleslaw. Visitors also get to choose a 6” cookie from the 20 varieties available at the restaurant.

Glenn Koch showed how they prepare the turkey – using a combination of white and dark meat mixed with onions, pepper and some water.

Restaurant Week continues through April 9 at 14 area restaurants around Downtown Sioux Falls.
