Avoid Lines, Get Your Swim Pass This Saturday
If you plan on going swimming in Sioux Falls this summer, the Parks and Recreation Department says don’t wait to buy your swim pass.
Parks and Recreation officials are encouraging everyone to stop at one of three community centers Saturday to pick up a pass.
Jean Pearson says getting one Saturday will be a much smoother process than picking it up at the pool when they open this summer.
Everyone purchasing a swim pass will need to create a new online account.
All family members on the swim pass must have new photos taken at a community center or other location.
New key fobs will be also be issued.
“What we worry about is that, that first hot day we don’t want people to wait in line, and this is a great chance to get your pass early. The pools open two weeks from today, weather permitting, and so we’re really excited about the summer getting underway, and we want folks to come in early and get that pass taken care of,” says Jean Pearson with the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department.
The Swipe and Swim Saturday event will be held at three community centers in Sioux Falls on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
