Blaise Keller

KDLT Weather Morning Meteorologist

Blaise joined KDLT and the KDLT Weather team in November of 2014 as the weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter, then he took the role of the morning meteorologist during the start of 2017.

Blaise was born in Madison, Wisconsin, but grew up in Zionsville, Indiana, a suburb just outside of Indianapolis. His interest in weather began at a young age; one of his earliest memories is being rushed into the basement of his house in Madison, the sky having an “orange” color and his mom telling him to get away from the windows. From then on, he was scared of thunderstorms, watching the local meteorologists as well as the Weather Channel whenever there was a thunderstorm because he thought that every thunderstorm produced a tornado. He wanted to not be afraid of thunderstorms anymore and decided to go to Valparaiso University, in northwestern Indiana, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Meteorology as well as a minor in communications.

When Blaise isn’t on the green screen or forecasting, he’s outside enjoying the weather! While he hasn’t done it in a while, he loves to fish, kayak, look for snakes/turtles/frogs outside as well as go swimming. You may also be able to find him at one of the many fast food joints around town, particularly those that serve tacos. Blaise is a Brother of Phi Delta Theta as well as a member of the LGBTQ community. You can follow Blaise on Twitter for all the latest weather updates!
