Her Legacy Lives On: Rebekah Spader’s Second Wish Concert
The Spader family is putting on another concert in the little girl's honor
A ten-year-old girl’s legacy is living on.
The Spader family is hosting a second ‘Rebekah’s Wish Concert’ at the end of the month.
We first met Rebekah in July of 2015.
Back then, the 9-year-old had one goal: to raise enough money for another sick child to live out their make a wish.
That became reality, after Rebekah put on a ‘Wish Gift Concert’ raising over $19,000.
Rebekah passed away this August, and even though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on.
The Spader family is putting on another concert in the little girl’s honor.
This time, the proceeds will go to Horsepower, a program that allows those with physical, emotional or cognitive challenges the chance to ride horses as a form of therapy. Rebekah took part once a week, and loved it.
The concert is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on September 24 at O’Gorman High School.
Tickets for Rebekah’s second ‘Wish Concert’ are $11 dollars online and $15 at the door on the night of.
