Tom Cruise has all the right moves in “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.” This sequel to the 2012 film has Cruise rescuing Cobie Smulders from a military prison. But the battle is just beginning as they confront a major government conspiracy. “Jack Reacher” is rated PG-13.
A little girl talks to the dead in “Ouija: Origin of Evil.” This follow-up to the 2014 American horror story spotlights a single mom and her daughters. They run a séance parlor to pay the bills, but when they introduce a Ouija board to their bag of tricks… The game turns deadly. “Ouija: Origin of Evil” is rated PG-13.
Tyler Perry faces his greatest fears in “Boo! A Madea Halloween.” The writer-director is back as the sassy grandma, dodging killer clowns and plodding zombies. But Perry also plays the part of a dad trying to keep his teenage daughter away from a fraternity party. “A Madea Halloween” is rated PG-13.
Ken Bone Stars in Commercial
The undecided voter who became an internet meme has gone to Washington.
Ken Bone is known for asking a question at the second presidential debate, but mostly because of his distinctive look and red sweater.
Now Izod, the maker of that sweater, has brought bone to the nation’s capital to film a “get out the vote” commercial. In the ad, Ken Bone is seen around some of our national landmarks and memorials. He meets and greets people, poses with a wedding party, plays soccer with kids, and ends up being chased by his fans.
The commercial has fun with bone’s internet fame, but the message is simple: go vote.
