One Injured In Sioux Falls Shooting
Suspect on the loose, public not believed to be in danger
Sioux Falls police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Friday night. The extent of the man’s injures are unknown.
Police responded to the call just after 8:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s on W. 41st St.
Authorities said there was only one victim, but two crime scenes. Police blocked off an area spanning from McDonald’s down to the Kings Mart gas station. There was also heavy police presence at the Red Rock Inn.
Police are still searching for a suspect, however, they do not believe the public is in any danger.
Authorities are asking people to avoid the area of 41st St. and Shirley Ave. if possible. They are also asking anyone in the area at the time of the shooting to contact them with any information.
