Kellie Pickler Performs Friday Night For Local Charity Fundraiser

Country music star Kellie Pickler is performing in Sioux Falls tonight, but her concert is more than just a fun event. It’s part of a fundraiser for the Guiding Hand Foundation to help provide resources to families affected by cancer.

Chris Jacob, the president of the Guiding Hand Foundation, says the Foundation is a local non-profit that helps individuals affected by cancer, whether that’s transportation costs or even mortgage payments– the everyday essentials. They are active in community events all throughout the year.

Nate Kenyon, vice president of the Guiding Hand Foundation, adds that they’ve been trying to get their name out for the past few years to let people know who they are and how they can help. This fundraiser is their biggest of the year.

There will also be a silent auction at the concert, with items like a guitar signed by Avril Lavigne, autographed Vikings pictures, and more.

The doors to the event open at 5 p.m. Kellie Pickler takes the stage at 8 p.m. For more information, click here.
