Authorities Searching For Two Men Suspected In Sioux Falls Bank Robbery

Police say two men displayed handgun at Dacotah Bank, left with cash

Police are searching for two men they say robbed a bank in southwest Sioux Falls Wednesday morning.

Police say two men entered Dacotah Bank near West 26th Street and South Marion Road around 9:30 a.m., displayed a handgun and left with cash. Police say four employees were at the bank at the time of the robbery.

Police say both suspects were wearing neon green hooded sweatshirts and Halloween masks. The suspect who displayed the handgun is described as five feet five inches tall and 130 lbs, wearing a long bearded mask, a baseball cap and sunglasses. They say the second suspect is around six feet tall, weighing 180 lbs.

Police say the two men left in a car that was found about a block south of Dacotah Bank. They believe the car used in the robbery was reported in Sioux Falls on Oct. 25.

The FBI and Sioux Falls Police are continuing to investigate this robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 367-7007.
