Public Tips Help Police Identify 3 Teens In Connection With Construction Site Vandalism
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Police say they were able to identify three teenagers that caused $1,500 in damage to a construction site thanks to quite a few tips from the public.
Police say a 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds were identified. There are no charges yet, but police say they are still working on the investigation and that charges may still be coming.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Police are searching for three teens after surveillance video shows them causing $1,500 in damage to a construction site in Sioux Falls.
Surveillance video shows three teens entering a construction site on the 5100 block of South Graystone Avenue just West of 57th Street and Sycamore Avenue on June 16th at 12:45 a.m. The teens took three fire extinguishers and sprayed the floor. The clean up and fire extinguishers themselves resulted in $1,500 in damage.
Police say the newer construction site has had reports of vandalism and stolen property in the past. Police are unsure if the teens are connected to those cases as well.
