Police: 20-Year-Old, Teen Arrested After Threatening Other Teens

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A 20-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested this morning after police say they threatened and chased another group of teens.

Police say the incident started around 3 a.m., a group of three teens were in the East side Walmart when another group of five people started asking why the group of three were looking at them. Some words were exchanged between the two groups before the group of five told them that they will seem them outside and left the store.

After some time the group of three left the store to find the group of five waiting for them. A 16-year-old in the group of five threatened a 19-year-old before the 20-year-old from the group of five pulled a gun from a car and pointed it at the group of three.

The group of three then got in their car and left and the group of five followed and started chasing them.

The group of three then called police.

Officers were able to find the group of five near 12th Street and S. Conklin Avenue. and found two realistic looking airsoft guns in their car.

Police arrested 20-year-old Matthew Blom on 3 counts of Aggravated Assault and a 16-year-old for for Disorderly Conduct.
