Police Arrest Woman On DUI, Drug And Child Endangerment Charges

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A 20-year-old mother was arrested on drug, DWI and child endangerment charges after being pulled over for a traffic stop.

Sioux Falls Police say at around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday night, an officer witnessed a vehicle without front license plates almost collide with another vehicle. The officer made a traffic stop near 6th and Chicago Avenue after seeing the vehicle swerving.

Police say while the officer was talking to the 20-year-old driver he saw paraphernalia in the vehicle. The officer conducted sobriety tests and searched the vehicle finding a scale and few different baggies of marijuana.

The officer arrested Jade Neve on Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, DUI, and Child Endangerment charges.

Neve had her three-year-old daughter with her at the time. The child was released into the custody of family members.
