Patience paid off for Sioux Falls native Dusty Coleman Tuesday night in San Diego. After going 0 for 3 and being pinch hit for Monday night as San Diego’s starting shortstop, he came off the bench the following night and ripped an RBI double in the 9th inning for his first Major League hit. He had opportunities 2 years ago when he made the bigs with the Kansas City Royals. And after changing organizations he got the chance again and took full advantage.
