Lincoln Saltdogs Score Six Unanswered To Beat Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Sioux Falls Canaries (30-33) lost to the Lincoln Saltdogs Friday night, 8-4.

The Canaries gave up six unanswered runs in the final three frames to blow a 4-2 lead after six innings.

Grady Wood pitched a solid performance for Sioux Falls, going six innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and he struck out five.

A solo home run in the bottom of the sixth by Ty Morrison gave Sioux Falls a 4-2 lead.

The home run extended his league-leading hit streak to 17 games.

The Sioux Falls Canaries wrap up their three-game set against the Lincoln Saltdogs with the rubber match at 6:05 PM Saturday night at The Birdcage.
