Motorcyclists Dies From Injuries Sustained In Crash
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Police say a motorcyclist has died from injuries he sustained in a crash last week.
On Monday, July 31st, around 1 p.m. there was an accident with a motorcycle and a pickup at North 4th Avenue and East Maple Street. A 1985 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on North 4th Avenue. A 2011 Nissan Frontier pickup was stopped on East Maple Street waiting to go through the intersection.
The pickup driver did not see the motorcycle and pulled out in front of it. The motorcycle struck the driver’s side and vaulted over the truck.
The driver of a motorcycle was Vincent Richard VanDonselaar, a 49 year old Sioux Falls resident, died from his injuries on Sunday, August 6, around 11 p.m.
The investigation is still on-going and no charges have been issued.
