Ham Scores Touchdown In Vikings Preseason Win Over Buffalo

Augustana Alum Fighting For Starting Fullback Job

BUFFALO, NY  —  The NFL Preseason continues to be very good to Augustana alum CJ Ham.

Ham, who is currently competing for the starting fullback position, ran for a two yard touchdown in the Minnesota Vikings 17-10 win at Buffalo in both team’s preseason opener on Thursday evening.

Though he’ll primarily be counted on to block, Ham did carry three times for five yards and catch an 11 yard pass.  Ham led the Vikings in rushing last preseason, earning a spot on the practice squad and eventually a promotion to the 53-man roster in the final week.

Ham and the Vikings will visit Seattle next Friday at 9 PM.
