Drones, Self-Driving Cars Featured In 2nd Annual S.D. Technology Showcase
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Cyber security tech, drones and even self-driving cars were featured today for the second annual South Dakota Technology Showcase at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
The conference brought together experts on issues ranging from cyber crime to Ag-technology. Senator John Thune also attended with a presentation on tech-related legislation.
Event organizer Cheryl Riley says the event is a great way to celebrate new developments happening right here in the region.
“We’d been seeing and hearing about all kinds of interesting innovations going on in the state so we brought our partners in SDN communications as well as the South Dakota Chamber and said let’s create a venue that allows SD companies and individuals to come together and talk about all the great things that are going on,” said Riley.
Organizers say the event was open to 165 business leaders and elected officials.
