Late Field Goal Gives Dakota Wesleyan 38-35 Sunday Night Win At Dakota Dome
VERMILLION, S.D. — Lightning made Dakota Wesleyan and Hastings push their football game back to Sunday and south to the Dakota Dome in Vermillion.
By night’s end lightning had seem to strike on the field thanks to the Tigers quick strike offense!
DWU rallied from 21 down, scoring 35 unanswered points and winning 38-35 on Seth Paulson’s field goal as time expired.
After tossing two early interceptions quarterback Dillon Turner threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 158 yards and a score. Howard native Luke Loudenburg also added 104 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The Tigers (3-2, 1-1) host Midland next Saturday at 1.
