Weekend Rainfall Brings Impressive Totals!

Some Spots Across the Sioux Empire Have Received More than Four Inches!

It has sure been a gloomy and rainy stretch the last three days and that has resulted in some impressive rainfall totals from across the Sioux Empire. Storms fired up Friday afternoon as a cold front moved through and they have not let up! Showers continue to roll out of the south even this evening and more rain is likely overnight tonight!

So far these are the totals that we have been able to compile from the National Weather Services from Aberdeen, Rapid City and Sioux Falls. These are not official totals. If you are looking for your town/city and don’t see it listed, that means we haven’t received a report! Find a rain gauge and send us a photo/report! We will pass it off to the responsible weather service office. You can send us an email at weather@kdlt.com or message us on Facebook (KDLT Weather) or Twitter (@KDLTWeather).
