Coleman Reflects On Wild Second Big League Season

Sioux Falls Native Played For San Diego Last Season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  — Dusty Coleman was a regular star on Football Friday back in his days at O’Gorman.

These days he’s happy to have gotten another shot at Major League Baseball with the San Diego Padres.

Coleman is back in Sioux Falls after completing his season with the San Diego Padres and their Triple-A affiliate in El Paso.  After a rough major league debut two years ago at Kansas City Coleman made the most of his second chance in the big leagues, getting 15 hits and four homeruns in 66 games for San Diego.

He will be a free agent at season’s end but hopes to remain in the San Diego organization.
