Groos Cousins Lead Colman-Egan to 2nd Straight Championship

VERMILLION…The Colman-Egan Hawks jumped out to a big lead and then went on to beat Sully Buttes 42-28 in the 9-B title game Thursday at the Dakotadome. Kade Groos, who was named Joe Robbie MVP, ran for 3 touchdowns and also returned a kick for a score. he gained 124 yards on the ground and his cousin Bodee Groos had 154 and a score. Devin Klevan was 21 of 39 for 250 yards and trio of scores for the Chargers. It was the 2nd straight state championship for Chad Williamson’s team.
