Midco Launching Field Trials For Gigabit Speed Broadband Services

Following successful lab trials with a DOCSIS 3.1-powered cable modem, Midco is preparing for field trials of its Midco Gig Internet service in Fargo, ND, in March. The company is also announcing the second metro area in Sioux Falls, SD, will be ready for Midco gigabit Internet speeds by the end of 2016.

SDSU’s Taylor, Shallberg And USD’s Gorham Earn Weekly Summit Swimming Awards

South Dakota State’s Donovan Taylor was named Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Week while South Dakota’s Julia Gorham and South Dakota State’s McKenna Shallberg earned Women’s Swimmers of the Week award for their performances during the week of Feb. 1-7.

The Department of Labor and Regulation is warning individuals of unofficial websites offering assistance in filing for unemployment benefits. These websites request credit card information and charge a fee for providing advice or job services to individuals.
