Spooktacular Weekends at ValleySCARE

From the natural to the supernatural, there’s something for everyone’s devilish desire!

Shakopee, Minn. (September 28, 2016) - Strange things are astir at Valleyfair! The fun takes a terrifying turn as the park transforms into ValleySCARE, the Upper Midwest’s largest Halloween attraction. With more than 75 rides and attractions, ValleySCARE is the perfect addition to any fall BOOcket list!

The Great Pumpkin Fest
During the day, tiny terrors can join Snoopy and the Peanuts gang for some not-so-scary family fun at The Great Pumpkin Fest. In addition to great rides and entertainment, guests can also check out some furry friends at Pigpen’s Petting Zoo, find their way through Peppermint Patty’s Hay Bale Maze, join Snoopy’s costume parade or stuff their treat bag on a trick-or-treat trek across the park!

This year marks the 50th anniversary of It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Celebrate with one of four free daily screenings at the Galaxy Theater.

Calling all leaf-lovers! With the crisp cool air and shorter days setting in, that can mean only one thing - fall colors. Sometimes the best place to see this vibrant display of nature is closer than you think. Whether taking in the views from above - atop our 275-foot Power Tower - or a spot closer to the ground, ValleySCARE is the perfect place to experience the beauty of the changing season.

Halloween Haunt
As darkness falls, the Halloween Haunt comes to life with more than 300 creatures and monsters occupying more than a dozen of the most intense haunted mazes and walkway scare zones. Guests can also brave the fog and darkness to strap into their favorite thrill rides.

Other Halloween Haunt exclusives include:
• Skeleton Key – For an additional charge, guests can sign a waiver and receive a safe word before unlocking exclusive access to six secret interactive rooms located throughout the park. Once inside, they will experience tight spaces, extreme situations and unforgettable encounters designed to test the boundaries of their worst fears.
• Blood Suckers Brew Bar – Guests 21 and older can escape the terror by stopping into this vampire-themed bar, featuring selections of beer, wine and cocktails.
Halloween Haunt is open 7:00pm – midnight, Friday and Saturday nights through October 29, as well as Thursday October 20 and is not recommended for those under the age of 13.
