Festival Opening Concert by the Nidaros Cathedral Boys Choir from
Trondheim and the Singing boys of Sioux Falls at Our Saviors Lutheran
Church, Friday, June 20 at 7:30 PM.
Family Heritage Day - Saturday June 21 at the Elmen Center and Heritage
Park, 10:00AM to 4:30PM. Lots of food, activities and entertainment &
Fjord horse wagon rides.
Scandinavian Evening, Saturday at the Elmen Center, 6:30PM, Smorgasbord
& Program by the Sioux Valley Singers and an 11 piece Accordion Band
from Norway. Also a Chautauqua presentation about Peter Norbeck’s
influence on early South Dakota history.
Sunday June 22, 10:30AM Church Service in the Beaver Creek Lutheran
Church, followed by the Nordland Heritage Foundation Brunch & Program in
the Augustana Morrison Commons at 12:00 Noon.

6/21 -- St. Nick's "Family Fun Fest"
St. Nick's Catholic Church will host its first annual "Family Fun
Fest" on Saturday June 21st from 11-3. This is an inexpensive
family fun event complete with train rides, paddle boats, food,
cotton candy, bingo, face painting, carnival games, castle jumper,
Noah's Ark Slide, and obstacle course.
St Nick's Catholic Church is located on Brian
Street in Tea, SD. Turn west on Brian. (First right after turning
south to go into Tea from the 4-way stop.) Call for additional
information at 498-5449 and ask for Sharon.

Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis
is the nation's largest event dedicated to finding cures for
digestive diseases. Participants raise money for crucial
research, bringing us closer to a future free from Crohn's
disease and ulcerative colitis. Take Steps also brings
together the Crohn's and colitis community in a fun and
energetic atmosphere, giving people of all ages who have
been touched by these diseases the rare opportunity to be
heard - raising awareness of these little-known diseases in
our area and across the nation.
