• 6/24 -- Sioux Empire Spectacular

  This is the fifth time Sioux Falls has hosted this event and the second in as many years.  It’s part of the “Drum Corps International Summer Music Games” National Tour.  All three public high schools are combining efforts to bring this event back to Sioux Falls.  Five drum and bugle corps from across the country will compete in Sioux Falls this year, including three of the top ten finishers at last year’s World Championships.  Scheduled to compete are Phantom Regiment of Rockford, Illinois; Blue Knights of Denver, Colorado; Colts of Dubuque, Iowa; Blue Stars of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Revolution of Atlanta, Georgia.  Ticket prices are $15 for prime seats in advance, $20 the day of show; or $10 for regular seats in advance and $15 the day of show. 
  
  For tickets send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Sioux Empire Spectacular, Roosevelt High School, 6600 West 41^st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.  Tickets will also be available at all the area music stores two weeks prior to the event.
