Bond has been set at $100,000 for a Rapid City man police say was involved in an altercation that also involved a hammer and a knife.
Authorities say 25-year-old Duane Adair argued with another man over a woman early Saturday at the man's apartment. Police allege that Adair threatened the man with a hammer and a knife before shooting the man with the man's own handgun.
Police say the 27-year-old man was grazed by the bullet and taken to a hospital for treatment. He wasn't identified. He's since been released from the hospital.
Adair is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated and burglary.
