They're an organization in charge of putting on JazzFest every year as well as many other educational events in the community.

Brienne Maner of the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society, along with the Hegg Brothers, Jon and Jeremey joined us Tuesday on the morning show to tells us about their upcoming fundraiser to benefit the SFJB Scholarship fund. The Fundraiser pays for music lessons and sends kids to music camps throughout the year.

The 6th annual Jazz and Brews fundraiser will feature entertainment from the Hegg Brothers and The Blues Bashers, but the Heggs say it will be a fun event full of great entertainment and music from many talented musicians.

Along with entertainment the event will feature a silent auction and food from Chef Jeni, beer and wine tasting, and a cigar tent.

The event is the 6th annual Jazz and Brews taking place this year at Vern Eide Acura.
It takes place this Thursday, June 23rd from 7 pm to 11pm.
Tickets are $35 per person  or $25 with a 2011-2012 Concert Series Subscription.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (605)-335-6101 or at the door.
