Today the Vikings got to lace up and take to the practice field for the first time during this 2011 training camp.
It was a hot one for the Vikes, with high humidity and temperatures all day, but despite that, players and coaches a like enjoyed getting out on the field again.
"The opprotunity to improve from where we were at last year," Defensive End Jared Allen said, "I think last year was so disappointing. So it's great To come back now and have a fresh start and get a chance to reach the potential of this team which is the super bowl."
"Well I'm gald to be back man and thank God that lockout's over because that was like pulling teeth." Tight End Visanthe Shiancoe said, "Good gracious. But we're back, the fans are happy so everybody's happy."
