Skyforce Will Play Regardless of Lockout

Bookmark and Share

With all the talk of the NBA Lockout and the high possibility of games being cancelled, we should note that the NBA's version of the minor leagues, the NBA D-League, will have a season no matter what.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce will tip off their season in just under two months time and that will be the case regardless of what happens with the NBA's work stoppage, as the D-League will not shut down play for an NBA lockout. The Skyforce are coming off a season in which they finished well below the .500 mark, but do return veteran head coach Mo McHone. The team is also holding open player tryouts in October.
