A 21-year-old Sioux Falls woman suspected of stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the neck Wednesday morning outside of a Taco John's restaurant has been arrested.

Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens says Amanda Marie May was charged with aggravated assault domestic. Clemens says May and her 31-year-old ex-boyfriend planned to meet to exchange photos when the assault took place around 1:20 a.m.

Clemens says the woman became upset and threw the photos to the ground. She then pulled a pocket knife and took after the victim. He was stabbed in the restaurant's doorway.

The man was taken to the emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries and held overnight for observation.
