Skyforce Adapting To Life Without Stiemsma

Bookmark and Share

With Greg Stiemsma making the Boston Celtics, the Skyforce are learning to adapt without their star center.

The Skyforce have managed a 3-4 record since Stiemsma and three other players left for NBA camp on December 9th. With all of those players except for Stiemsma now back, the Force have a pretty good idea of how their team is going to look for the rest of the season and they're thinking they can be a little more uptempo without the big man from Wisconsin.

"We do need him, but we're faster without him," Skyforce Guard Casey Mitchell says, "We're more of a transistion team without him so we can better ourselves either way."

The Skyforce will play their annual Christmas day game Sunday night against Springfield, at the Arena.
