On these cold winter days, one thing that can definitely get things warmed up is a good old fashioned hot rod show. What is better than checking out some classic wheels, but also helping a good cause in the same time?
Thursday morning, Karen Leisinger, event coordinator of the Winterfest Of Wheels, and one of the organizers of the event along with Kim Haiar of Sanford Health told about such an event taking place this weekend, the third annual Winterfest Of Wheels.
The event features some extremely rare cars, not commonly seen here in the Sioux empire. Karen said that cars are traveling from Canada to Texas for the event, but it is not just for car buffs. There will be great activities for ladies and kids to make for a wonderful family event.
Kim Haiar of Sanford Health told us about Cure Kids Cancer, the organization that benefits from the show. 100 percent of the proceeds go to the charity and are all spent locally.
