MBB: USF Working Hard Without Chance Of Championships

Bookmark and Share

USF doesn't have a conference tournament to look forward to at the end of the year as they complete their transition to Division 2. Despite that, the Cougar men's basketball team has been pretty phenomenal this year and have won 11 of their last 12 games. Head Coach Chris Johnson says that's a testiment to the players continuing to play hard in an unusual circumstance.

"It's a little different," Johnson says, "You gotta find your motivation in other places, but the guys have done a really good job of staying focused just with the process of getting better everyday."

The Cougar men will play their final two home games Friday and Saturday in a series with Minot State.
