A Spearfish company that makes three-wheeled motorcycles has suspended operations.
Lehman Trikes laid off some workers late last year while the business looked for an investor. President and CEO Ken Hines says in a statement that the company has not been successful and there is no guarantee it will find the money to reopen.
The business moved to Spearfish in 2004. Founder John K. Lehman died this past January.
It's unclear how many people worked at Lehman Trikes. The Spearfish Economic Development Corp.
website lists the work force at 15 but corporation Executive Director Bryan Walker declined to comment.
