South Dakota lottery officials say a Huron woman has claimed a $250,000 Mega Millions prize.
Lottery officials say Linda Marcus and her husband Pete claimed her winnings from the March 23 drawing on Wednesday.
Marcus purchased the winning ticket at a local Huron store last week. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Marcus said she first heard that a $250,000 winning ticket had been sold in Huron on the local radio station where she's worked for 30 years. Mega Millions is played in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Friday's jackpot sits at $500 million.
