A number of radio stations rallied together to help sick children at Sanford Health, Wednesday.
This is the fifth year for the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon.
DJ's and volunteers were taking calls and rallying radio listeners today trying to raise money and awareness.
Last year the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon raised over $230,000 and officials look to beat that mark this year.
“We just have more and more kids that are being diagnosed with cancer. More and more kids being treated, right here, at Sanford’s Children and that’s really the thing about Cure Kids Cancer is that 100% of the funds that we raise stay right here,” said Kim Haiar.
The Radiothon will continue through Friday from 6am to 6pm.
