South Dakotans Head To Polls For Local Elections

Voters in several South Dakota cities and towns are heading to the polls Tuesday to vote in local elections.
In Sioux Falls, voters are selecting two school board members and four city council members. Polls are open until 7 p.m.
Voters in Fort Pierre are deciding whether current Mayor Sam Tidball should remain in the position or if challenger Charles Claussen is the right person for the job. Fort Pierre also has elections for two city council members
Another mayor race is taking place in Philip. LouAnn Recklin and Michael Vetter are seeking the seat of current Mayor John Hart. Mayor Matt Semmler and former Mayor Vikki Day are battling each other in the Highmore mayoral race.
In Eagle Butte, the ballot includes two city council races.
