A magistrate judge has concluded there's enough evidence to try a 20-year-old Rapid City man accused of shooting another man in the head.
Kelsey Reavis is charged with attempted murder and an alternate count of aggravated assault in the April 28 shooting of 28-year-old Christopher Levin after what authorities said was an altercation that happened during a house party. Levin was listed in critical condition at a hospital following the shooting but had recovered enough to testify during a Monday hearing.
Pennington County State's Attorney Scott Roetzel says Levin is unable to live on his own because of his injuries and has moved in with his parents.
A circuit court judge will now be assigned to the case. A hearing for Reavis to enter a plea has not been scheduled.
