Severe storms with wind gusts topping more than 77 miles per hour did some damage in Mobridge.
Many trees and power lines were blown down Thursday, and the town's Lucky's Gas N' More had its roof torn off and tossed into the front parking lots of KT's Fireside.
Winds ripped the Pheasant Drive Inn's movie screen ripped off its base. Theater owners say the drive-in will be closed until further notice.
Clean-up crews worked through 11 p.m. Thursday and resumed Friday at 7 a.m.
Residents needing to dump debris, trees and other miscellaneous items can use a rubble site east of the National Guard Armory, which will be open all weekend.
