As gas prices have continued to drop the past couple of months and people are spending less time filling up and more time cruising the roads in style and in campers.
The current average price for a gallon of gas in South Dakota is $3.52, which is $0.24 lower than a year ago.
Employees at Stan's NorthView Campers said business is booming and staff has been working around the clock, selling camper by camper.
"We've been working 10 hours a day, six days a week," said Bob Deelstra.
Bob Deelstra's family business has been around since 1994 and this year, he said he has no complaints about the booming RV sales.
Business is up 17-20% in sales this year.
"Due to the early Spring and South Dakota having a great economy, it seems like people have decided to buy campers, we've certainly seen an up kick in sales this year," said Deelstra. "People still want to do stuff on their weekends, people want to do things with their families and it's a great way to create memories with their family.”
AAA Spokeswoman, Marilyn Buskohl, said gas prices are expected to continue to decrease this summer, making traveling on the road more enjoyable.
"One very pleasant thing that has happened as a result of the lower gas prices, is people are spending less time at the pump, which gives them more money to spend on other things like travel," said Buskohl.
And as far as business goes, Deelstra's happy to provide a ride that brings families closer together.
"We're very fortunate and very blessed to do that," said Deelstra.
