Nicolas Walkoff Single in 9th Wins For Birds

Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth, the Sioux Falls Pheasants rallied for a 6-5, walk-off win. Jonny Kaplan hit a game-tying, pinch-hit single, and Cesar Nicolas delivered the game-winning single two batters later.  Nicolas led the effort with a 3-for-5 performance with two RBI. He now has a 12-game hitting streak. Brandon's Jack Van Leur picked up the win for the Birds who have now won 4 straight and are 16-14. They host the Goldeyes Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.
