Pheasants Top Kansas City 7-2

Jared Bolden had three extra base hits as the Sioux Falls Pheasants (25-19) took home a 7-2 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones (25-21) at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Wednesday. He singled in the first inning, tripled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the third and ninth innings.
The Sioux Falls Pheasants relied on Peter Gehle to eat up innings en route to the win. Gehle allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.
A bright spot for the Kansas City T-Bones in the defeat was Dan Kickham, who allowed zero runs while striking out five.
Josh Rainwater (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
The Sioux Falls Pheasants' Jonny Kaplan, Cory Morales and Bolden combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
