Grove Places Sixth in Spain

South Dakota track and field athlete Emily Grove finished sixth in the pole vault competition at the IAAF World Junior Championships Saturday in Barcelona, Spain.

 The South Dakota Coyote cleared a height of 13-7 1/4 (4.15 meters) to record the sixth-place finish against athletes from across the world.  Prior to clearing that height, Grove cleared three other bars with just one miss. She finished ahead of athletes from Sweden, China, Germany and Russia in the event.
