State 'A' Legion Baseball Sets Up for Final Day

 The Legion State 'A' Baseball Tournament continued today in Aberdeen, narrowing down towards the championship on Sunday.

In the late game last night, Sioux Falls west pulled out a convincing win. They were pushed back due to a weather delay, but that didnt deter them from pulling out a 13-3 win over Valley Springs. Christian Rassmusson, Nick Mimmack & Trevor Hurley had two hits each for West.

The game that was pushed back to noon Saturday, it was Sioux Falls East matching up against Rapid City Post 22. East would take this one 7-3 the final. Jack Gordon was the winning pitching, hurling a complete game. John Hander collected three hits, including two doubles and three RBI in the win.

Other games today include Sioux Falls West which played again at three this afternoon, they led early in this game, but Rapid City would post a comeback and win in extras 10-9.

Sioux Falls East took on Brookings as well today. The Brookings Bandits took this one 8-4. Landon Busch got his 2nd win of the tournament going seven innings, while fanig nine.
Sets up Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Brookings versus Rapid City Post 22 for the right to meet Sioux Falls East at 5:00 p.m. for state championship.
