AFTER SUFFERING DUAL ACL AND MCL INJURIES, ADRIAN PETERSON HAS BEEN WORKING OUT AND WORKING HARD TO TRY AND GET BACK IN THE MIX.
Adrian Peterson says, "Yeah I definitely want to play a pre-season game. That's the only way to really get out here, really get back to normal, is going out their, participating, you nkow and cuttin and dodgin guys and playing football. Getting that feel so hopefully I get the opportunity to do that."
Nick Lenz says, "With the injury AP is just limited to lifting and conditioning during training camp. The big dog wants to be out there during practice, but the Vikes would rather have him ready for the beginning of the season."
Toby Gerhart says, "It is a tough situation, you don't ever, you dont want to root for anyone to be hurt. Adrian's a heck of a player, heck of a friend to me and we're all pulling for him to get back as quick as possible. If he's not back, I'll be ready and more than capable to lead the offense."
BUT THE INJURY ISN'T DISCOURAGING PETERSON FROM WORKING HIS WAY BACK AND LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE.
Adrian Peterson says," How do I sum it up? Life. Life man. Life is full of ups and downs and it's all about how you bounce back from it."
AND WHEN ASKED IF HE'LL BE READY FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, HE HAD SOME WORKDS FOR THE MEDIA.
"Oh yeah, I feel like I'll be ready to play. So you guys just stay tuned."
